Happy New Year!

January 1, 2018 by admin 4 Comments

Happy New Year! The new year has officially begun! As I do with every new year, I take some time to reflect on the previous year and all that took place. I reflect on the good, the sometimes bad, the hard times, the wonderful celebrations that took place, the stress of certain situations and I […]

My friend, Amelia

January 22, 2017 by admin 14 Comments

This weekend I had the opportunity to spend time with my friend, Amelia. This was not easy as my schedule seems to stay full and Amelia’s health challenges have made it difficult for even a short visit. A few weeks ago I really felt that I needed to visit Amelia. It was important and I prayed that […]

I'm a southern gal living out my God sized dreams one day at a time. I'm a writer, marathon runner, senior program coordinator, occasional photographer, and lover of all things chocolate. I love to run and encourage other runners in their journey to completing a half marathon or a full marathon. I have a brother with Cerebral Palsy, and I get to see the joys and challenges that face a family impacted by disability daily. My faith in Christ is what sustains me each day. Proverbs 3:5,6 is my life verse.
