In keeping with my theme word(s) for the year, I decided to fear less and have my very own site created. I should have listened to my friend, Amy, last year after Allume and bought my own domain but I didn’t think I could do it. I was afraid and honestly kept getting bogged down by the details that I didn’t even want to think about it. Amy, if you are reading this: You Were Right! 🙂 Still, I had no idea where to begin and what to do when it came to purchasing or creating a website. After a visit with my friend, Amelia, she shared how a mutual friend of ours was helping her with getting a website and updating her blog. After much prayer and wrestling about whether or not to take the plunge into buying my own site I contacted our mutual friend, Renee, who has now become my dream coach! God definitely orchestrated all of the connections and ways that this site has come to fruition.
Within a matter of two weeks I have changed websites, social media handles, and am treading into unknown territory. I am doing what I can to be fearless this year. I have always enjoyed writing and have lots of ideas that I want to write about; this year I knew I needed to take more steps toward being serious about my writing.
So, welcome to my new site. I am very glad you are here and look forward to sharing with you about my life. I will be sharing about my faith, family, friends, running, and child sponsorship. I’m a Christian and do my very best to live that out daily. My family is very important to me and has been a wonderful source of love, strength, and lots of laughter. I will be sharing what life is like living with a sibling who has a disability. Reading is a passion of mine and I will share with you the books that are making an impact in my life. I love to run and I get the privilege of coaching a great group of runners each year to complete half-marathons or full marathons. I also sponsor a child through Compassion International. I will be sharing about the wonderful ways child sponsorship has touched my life.
Thank you for joining me on this journey!
